STORIES HIGH 2006 Thursday thru Saturday Sept. 21-23 Sept. 28-30 October 5-7
Stories High 2006 9th Annual Workshops & Performance for Emerging Artists A break-up sparks voices from heaven and hell. Mother and father freak out when they discover a condom in their daughter's laundry. A BART rides into people's lives. Two couples, one in love and the other questioning love, are stranded in an elevator. A war from the past haunts a married couple, now they must fight for their love. And a mother commits the unthinkable to her baby.

Bindlestiff's own original works incubator.
Join us, and partake in our annual workshop series for every facet of the theatrical process. We will train participants of all skills levels to mount a full production. Come in, learn a few things about theater, and put your newly found skills to work with the mounting of the "Stories High '06" show in September!

Writing Facilitator Bio:
Gayle Romasanta is a writer based out of the bay area. Her written work has been featured at numerous venues and festivals, such as at the Gene Siskel Center for Film, San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, National Public Radio and The Cultural Center of the Philippines. She graduated from the California College of the Arts with an MFA in writing and was the co-founder of CCA‚s literary arts journal, Eleven Eleven. She has been a resident artist with Bindlestiff Studio since 1998, as an actress/violinist with Tongue in a Mood, violinist for the Legendary Bobby Banduria, and founding member of the Bindlestiff Pinay Collective.
