Dino Ignacio was born and raised in Marikina, Metro Manila.
He studied at the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts.
While in UP, Dino co-created and published 2 issues of the comicbook Memento Mori, under Alamat comics.
He dropped out after 3 years and co-formed a design house called Binary Soup.
In 1997, he wrote and illustrated a children's book entitled "The Tower of Misunderstanding".
In 1998 he won the Webby awards for his website "Bert is Evil!".
He moved to San Francisco the following year to pursue more education at the Academy of Art University where he graduated with a degree in Computer/Arts 3d Modeling.

He is currently working at Electronic Arts, as a user interface designer for DeadSpace.
